Frequently asked questions

  • What happens if I pre-register as a publisher?

Your application is recorded and we will contact you during the network’s launch process. Pre-registration is not a contract or a commitment to run ads; once the technical integration tools are ready, terms and admission criteria will be shared with you separately.

  • Which publishers will be able to join the network?

Local and regional news sites, industry publications, blogs, local portals and mobile apps are the planned publisher profiles. Admission will take into account content quality, genuine reader traffic and compliance with advertising policies.

  • Will publishers be able to see ads before they go live?

In the planned setup, publishers will be able to choose which ad categories they accept and will have the right to approve campaigns before they go live. The aim is to prevent content that could harm the outlet’s relationship with its readers.

  • As an advertiser, can I advertise with local publishers today?

Not through AdSport yet; the publisher network is on the roadmap. If you share your regional reach needs through a demo request, we can assess together how they could be included in your plan once the network opens.

Where local readers look in outlets they already trust

The AdSport publisher network aims to connect advertisers with local news sites, industry publications and apps. Pre-registration for publishers is open today.

What a publisher network means

Across Türkiye, many cities, districts and industries have their own news site, portal, blog or mobile app. These outlets are sources that a region or professional group follows every day, yet their ad space is often sold by phone, by email and through one-by-one negotiation.

A publisher network is the idea of gathering this scattered inventory into a shared structure. For advertisers, it means reaching local and industry audiences that are hard to isolate on large platforms, in a trusted environment. For publishers, it means turning ad space into revenue in a steadier, more transparent and measurable way.

On AdSport, the publisher network is on the roadmap. Publisher pre-registration is open today; the technical integration tools will come online when the network opens.

What it offers both sides

  • Regional and industry reach

Reaching households in one district or a particular professional group is not always possible with general targeting. Local news sites and industry publications naturally bring these audiences together.

  • A trusted context

An ad in a publication readers follow regularly and recognize is perceived differently from an anonymous placement. Placements that fit the content, such as a local business ad next to city news, draw strength from that context.

  • Steady revenue for publishers

Small and mid-sized publishers can open their ad space to a shared pool of demand instead of selling each placement on its own. Keeping pricing and approval control with the publisher helps protect the outlet’s identity.

  • A local layer in one plan

Setting aside budget for local publishers within the same brief as digital, social and traditional channels strengthens a campaign’s regional impact and cuts down on separate negotiations.

Who it suits

The publisher network speaks to both advertisers and publishers. It is especially relevant for brands that serve a region or want to reach a specific field of expertise.

  • Local service businesses

Clinics, real estate offices, schools and dealerships can reach readers in the cities they serve through local publications.

  • Industry-focused B2B brands

In fields such as agriculture, construction, healthcare and logistics, publications read by professionals offer a direct point of contact with decision-makers.

  • Local news sites and portals

Publishers that want to fill their ad space more consistently and lighten their sales load can pre-register today to be part of the network’s launch.

  • Blog and app owners

Content sites and mobile apps with regular readers or users in a specific topic are also among the planned publisher profiles.

How it will work once the network opens

  • Publisher application

The publisher pre-registers with basic information about their site or app. Admission to the network will be handled by reviewing content quality, traffic sources and compliance with advertising policies.

  • Placement setup and integration

Publishers will define their ad placements, sizes and the categories they accept. Integration is planned through embed code for websites, an SDK for apps and an API for advanced use.

  • Inclusion in media plans

When an advertiser’s brief calls for a regional or industry audience, suitable publishers will be suggested in the media plan. Publishers will keep the right to approve incoming campaigns before they go live.

  • Delivery and reporting

The goal is to report impression and click data to both sides using the same definitions. Advertisers will see results alongside other channels, and publishers will be able to track revenue by placement.

How it’s measured

Because ads in the publisher network will run in web and app environments, impressions, clicks and viewability can be measured. Reliable measurement depends on filtering out invalid traffic and counting impressions the same way on both sides.

In local campaigns, results often come through phone calls or store visits. Using a campaign-specific landing page, phone number or code, and tracking changes in branded search in the relevant region, therefore complements click data.
